This Heartsaver CPR is intended for lay responders such as teachers, daycare providers and all persons whose employer requires basic CPR training.
The 2023 course fee is $80 per person, which includes a certificate, manual, and pocket mask. The Heartsaver CPR Course is held every month. This course must have a minimum of 3 students to be held. The program length is approximately four to six hours. The certificate is valid for two years from the date of issue. The Healthcare Provider Course is designed for the professional emergency care provider such as nurses and paramedics and those who wish to expand their skills beyond the Heartsaver CPR Course. The 2023 course fee is $90 per person, which includes a certificate, manual, and pocket mask. The Healthcare Provider Course is held every month.
The Shelby Township Fire Department offers Healthcare Provider CPR and Heartsaver CPR courses designed by the American Heart Association.
